As we celebrate the end of the All Aboard campaign, we’d love to hear from you! We’re gathering photos, stories and memories of Mayfield to feature at the All Aboard Finale on Friday 13th November.
Your contribution doesn’t need to be old. We’d love memories from Mayfield over the years, but we’d just as happily see what the school means to you right now. It could be:
A photo from your time at Mayfield, whether you were a pupil, parent or member of staff
A favourite memory of a teacher, a trip, a school play or a sports day
A snapshot of Mayfield life today, such as a great moment from this year
A few words about what Mayfield means to you or your family
Whether it’s a faded class photo from decades ago or a picture from last week, every contribution helps tell the story of our school community.
How to share
Email your photos and memories to allaboard@fundmayfield.com by 1st November. Please include your name and, if you like, the year or years you were connected with Mayfield, so we can credit your contribution.
Please pass this on to friends, family and former Mayfield pupils and staff. The more voices we hear, the better the celebration will be.
Bring entries to the school office by Monday 9th November
Enter our Art Competition, and show us what Mayfield means to you.
You can use any materials you like and create anything you want to. Here are some ideas to get you thinking:
What do you look forward to most when you're coming into school each day?
Is there a person or place in the school that means a lot to you?
If you were telling someone about Mayfield, what would you tell them?
Maybe you want to recreate the school field out of organic material, or draw a picture of your favourite classroom, you could create an effigy of your favourite teacher using egg boxes, or make a model of your favourite moment at the school. Whatever you make, we will look after it for you and can return it after the event.
How to enter
Bring in your entry to the school office by Monday 9th November.
Make sure it has your first name and class on it somewhere.
If you want to write anything about what you've made, just bring that in with your artwork (with your name and class on it too).
How will we judge the winners?
All entries will be put on display at our Finale event on the 13th November for everyone to enjoy. Mayfield art leads, Mrs Hailes and Mrs Campbell will carefully review your work and choose a winner from each key stage, and the winners will each receive a prize.
We are really excited to see your creations!
If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at allaboard@fundmayfield.com
Bring entries to the school office on the morning of Friday 13th November
Calling all bakers! As part of the All Aboard Finale, we’re hosting a Mayfield-themed Bake Off, and we’d love you to get involved.
Bake something inspired by All Aboard or Mayfield: a school-themed showstopper, a boat-themed treat, a recreation of the new trim trail made entirely of choux pastry... we can't wait to see what you bake!
How it works
Bring your bake to school on the morning of Friday 13th November
Our expert judges, Mr Atkinson and Mrs Stepney, will taste and decide
There will be prizes for the best bakes, judged on both taste and how creatively you’ve interpreted the theme
After judging, all bakes will be sold at the bake sale during the Finale, with every penny going to the All Aboard campaign
Please note: Mayfield is a nut-free school, so all bakes must be completely nut-free.
Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a first-timer, we’d love to see what you come up with. Start planning your bake now!
