Muck-in May

Want to help get the pool summer-ready? Or help us attract pollinators to the grounds by planting raised beds?

We've got a list of jobs that need doing round the grounds and would love your help to work through them. Find out more below and sign up to help!

Swimming pool area

We love our pool! We are so lucky to have it and it's a real asset to the school. But... it does need a bit of TLC.

Back in March, a group of parents, PTA and staff ran the Cambridge Half Marathon and raised almost £2,500 to help rejuvenate the pool area. And now we need your help to use that money and get fixing.

We have a range of tasks that we'd love to be able to tick off so that the pool area is ready to use:

Can you help?

We're running Muck-In May days every Saturday in May - sign up for an hour, a morning or a whole day. Bring the family and a picnic and everyone can help.

We hope it'll be lots of fun as well as a real help for the school.

help plANT OUR NEW Raised beds

Alongside the pool area work, we'd love your help getting our new raised beds filled, planted and ready for the summer months.

You may remember we successfully bid for Council money to improve our playground for pollinators. These new beds are part of that funding and will create a calming space for pupils to work or play.

On Saturday 4 May, we'll be working with school gardener Agnes to fill these raised beds and plant a range of plants and seeds.
