We're here at last. After a false start and a bit of mad panic last week, we're really excited that the Summer Fair is now upon us!
Below you'll find a map of activities so you can see where to head straight from pick up.
Whilst we're not dealing with the same heats as last week, it does still look set to be warm, so:
we're using as much shade as possible across the school
there are water points across the site - please tell you child to bring their water bottle for free refills
there will be sun-cream available at all water points too
Check out the map and details below to see what's on and where.
We can't wait to see you there! 😍

Please return the ticket stubs and money, plus any unsold tickets, to the school office by Wednesday 1st July.
Raffle tickets can be bought on the day - come along to our raffle stall!
Mr Atkinson will help us draw the raffle from about 5pm on the day - please gather near the raffle stall.
We want everyone to enjoy the summer fair, so to keep costs down:
entrance is FREE!
most children's activities are 50p (or 1 token) or £1 (2 tokens), with inflatables costing £1.50 (3 tokens)
we will have low cost drinks like squash (with free refills after you buy the first one), tea, coffee and fizzy drinks, plus free water
families who qualify for the Mayfield Pupil Premium will be given fair tokens to spend on the day - check your book bags!
you are welcome to bring your own food and drink
We are really looking forward to seeing lots of Mayfield families there. Please bring friends and family along too - everyone's welcome!
Children remain the responsibility of their grown ups and must be accompanied. Please collect your child from their classroom as normal and the head to the fair for the fun to start!
All the usual school rules apply - no tree climbing, no riding bikes or scooters in the school grounds, be kind to one another, and be respectful. We want the event to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
The event is held across the outdoor areas of the school. Indoor areas are out of bounds except for designated toilets - please do not go into classrooms or other areas of the school unless directed to do so by a member of the PTA or school staff.
Lost children - please report any lost children to any member of staff or the PTA (PTA will be in yellow All Aboard t-shirts) or bring to the Lost Child point near the Bar.
Please also help us keep the site tidy - there are bins around the grounds, including recycling points. Please return any reusable cups/glasses to one of the PTA tables and we will wash them up ready for use at our next event.
All the money raised at the Summer Fair will go towards our All Aboard campaign which is raising money to enhance outdoor play and learning, boost tech provision and update the artworks around the school to reflect the fantastic community we have here at Mayfield.
Thank you for supporting the work of the PTA - we couldn't do it without you 😍
