Our biggest event of the year, we can't wait to welcome you to our Summer Fair! All proceeds go to the PTA who work closely with the school to spend wisely.

Buying Tokens in advance has now closed, but you can visit our Token Table at the Fair to buy some on the day.
If you pre-paid for Tokens using Just Giving, come along to the Token Table at the Fair to collect.
Return your sold tickets to the school office by Thursday 29th June. Extra tickets are available from the office and we will sell them at the Fair too.
The silent auction to win one of 5 limited edition A Cambridge Diary prints closes at 10pm on Thursday 29th June. You can also bid at the Fair.

The Summer Fair really could not happen without all of your help - what an amazing community we have both within and surrounding the school.
We want everyone to enjoy the summer fair, so to keep costs down:
entrance is FREE!
most children's activities are 50p (or 1 Token), with the bouncy castles costing £1 (2 Tokens)
we will have low cost drinks like squash (with free refills after you buy the first one), tea, coffee and fizzy drinks
children in receipt of school meals have been given £2 of Fair Tokens to spend on the day
you are welcome to bring your own food and drink
We are really looking forward to seeing lots of Mayfield families there!
We have been lucky enough to have been gifted five original glicee photography prints from A Cambridge Diary.
These prints will be auctioned off at the fair through a silent auction.
How to bid:
By email: send your bid and the name of the print you're bidding for to silentauction@fundmayfield.com. The deadline for email bids is 10pm on Thursday 29th June.
On the day: come along to the Raffle & Silent Auction stall at the fair to see the prints in all their glory and to place your bid. Bidding ends at 5pm on Friday 30th June.
We will then review all the bids and the highest bidder for each print will win the auction and be able to take their print home (we will, of course, store it for you if you have already left).
All prints are sized 76cmx55cm and are unframed.
About A Cambridge Diary
Martin Bond is a professional photographer who has lived in Cambridge all his life. A Cambridge Diary sees him post a photograph from Cambridge online each day. It is now in its eleventh year of continuous daily pictures, with more than four thousand photographs in the archive.
These events can't work unless we have support from across the school community. Here are five key ways you can help:
1. Grand Raffle
Every child has been sent home with an envelope containing 10 raffle tickets - please try to sell these tickets to your family and friends. Use the envelope to return your ticket stubs and money (as well as any unused tickets) to the school office by Thursday 29th June.
Need more than 10? Pop into the office and pick up more!
2. Donate a prize
Please give generously to your year group hamper (which will be a prize in the Grand Raffle). Boxes for donations can be found in your classrooms from Monday 19th - Thursday 29th June.

3. On the day
Can you spare some time to help set up, clear up or run a stall? Our volunteers help make our events run more smoothly (and help reduce queueing time for everyone!).
Please sign up, even just one 45 minute session will make a huge difference to the running of the event and... it's even quite fun!
4. Get baking
Donate homemade or shop-bought bakes for our Summer Fair bake sale! Please bring them along to the office on the morning of Friday 30th June.
5. Books and teddies
Do you have unloved books or teddies you can donate for our book sale or teddy tombola stalls? Please bring any donations to the school office between Friday 23rd and Thursday 29th June.
We have some amazing prizes lined up for the Grand Raffle!
Each child will be given a bundle of tickets to sell. Please try to sell these before the event to friends, family, neighbours, the milkman - anyone you can think of who might like to win one of our awesome prizes!
Sold ticket stubs and cash can be returned to the school office by Thursday 29th June.
Additional tickets are available at the office and we will be selling some on the day too.

To make it easier for everyone to enjoy the summer fair, we are trialing a new way to pay. This year, as well as cash and (a couple of) card readers, you can also buy tokens at the Fair to pay at stalls and activities on the day*.

We are hoping this makes it easier to give your child independence around the fair and also means less time spent queuing to pay during the event.
